Ruth Schueler, age 98, of Baraboo, Wisconsin passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Dells with Vicar Danniel Christensen officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at the Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin, WI on Friday, June 19, 2026.

Ruth was born March 12, 1928 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Erwin and Amelia (Krause) Gauger. Her life was church and God. She was involved in committees, choir, alter care and many other projects at church. She was always very willing to lend a hand. She loved quilting, hosting for Christmas, gardening and tending to her flower beds.

She is survived by her daughter Peggy (Jerry) Mayer, their family, Chad, Katie, Todd, Rachel, Rebecca, Heidi (Dave) Maypark; daughter-in-law Bonnie Schueler and her family Kendra (Rick) Junk, Kirsten (goddaughter) (Chris) Fritsche; her great-grandchildren, Silas, London, Isabella, Stryker, Shylar; goddaughter Lois (Jerry) Kowalczewski and their family, Jenny (Rick) Michalski, Kelli Kowalczewski and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth; son, Rev. Dennis; sister Ethel (Allen) Head; brother, Marvin Gauger; niece Lynn Lien, along with other relatives and friends.
