Sharon was born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, to Howard Pierson Mike and Gussie (Cloud) Mike. Sharon is a member of the Ho-Chunk Nation Eagle Clan. Sharon's childhood was impacted by several American Indian policies, including attending Neillsville Indian School, foster home placements, and American Indian Relocation-Job Corp. At the age of eighteen, she was sent to Clinton, Iowa, from the Job Corps for cosmetology training. In Clinton, she met her first husband, Kenneth Huling, and they had five children. After her first marriage, she met her second husband, Douglas Prusia. Sharon and Doug lived in LeClaire, Iowa, and then relocated to Clinton, where they lived for the remainder of their lives.

Sharon worked in sales and print advertising for newspapers in Iowa. Sharon enjoyed working with people and often volunteered at various non-profit organizations throughout her life, including the American Red Cross and hospice care. Sharon often cared for her community and would always assist neighbors, family members, and friends in need. Sharon was proud of her family members who served in the military, especially her Jagi Howard Mike, William Bill Mike (Ho-Chunk Code Talker), her first husband Kenneth Huling (Army), Vietnam Veteran Purple Heart recipient, her second husband Douglas Prusia Vietnam Veteran (Navy), and grandsons Pierson White (Army), Cole Maier (Army), and Samuel Shelton (Navy). Sharon's greatest love was her grandchildren and assisting in raising her great-grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by her children, Wendi Huling, Molli (Dean) Pauliot, Kandi Maier, David (Amber) Huling, and Mikel Huling, 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and brother Lionel Cloud.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Gussie Mike, her sister, Carol Jean Mike, and her younger brother, Henry Jay Mike.

Traditional Ho-Chunk funeral services will be held, led by Gail Funmaker with a visitation on Friday, May 22nd, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon at Conway-Picha Funeral Home in Lyndon Station. Visitation and Funeral Services on Saturday, May 23rd, from 10:00 am to 12:00 Noon at Indian Heights Community Building, (975 Dyer Street in Wisconsin Dells) with burial at Spring Grove Cemetery in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.
