Shirley Kay Bender-Smith, age 74, of Lake Delton, Wisconsin passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2023.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Shirley was born July 8, 1949 in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, the daughter of Frank and Dorothy (Holton) Bender. Shirley truly enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Most importantly Shirley loved her family and she enjoyed spending as much time with them as possible.

Shirley is survived by her daughter Vicki (Roger) Weyh of Baraboo, granddaughter, Alissa (Jon) Whitaker of Reedsburg, grandson, Roger (Anita) Weyh of Reedsburg and 6 beautiful great-grandchildren, Parker, Silas, Roger, Jaxson, Blake and Electra; sisters, Lela Kozlowski, Sylvia (Blaire) Weidling and Sandra Gilbertson. Along with many nieces and nephews who she loved very much. She is further survived by her step-grandchildren, Nathan and Ryan Weyh and her loving friend, Robert Hardman. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Delorus "Laurie" Peasall, Reva Jensen and brothers, Frank "Buddy" Bender and Dan Bender; special Step-father, Art Hiwaleck and brother-in-law, Richard Gilbertson.
