Stacy And WhiteCloud, aged 51, was called home on November 8, 2024, in Los Angeles, California. She leaves behind a legacy defined by love, resilience, and an unyielding commitment to family.

A funeral service for Stacy will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at 12 Noon at the Native American Church with Eric Logan officiating. Visitation will be starting at 3:00 PM on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the Native American Church. She will be laid to rest at Spring Grove Cemetery following the service.

Born on June 16, 1973, at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo, Stacy was the beloved daughter of Unga Diane Kay Stacy and Johnny WhiteCloud.

As a teenager, Stacy competed in the Miss Teen U.S.A. pageant. When asked to name her idol, she exclaimed without hesitation, "Nelson Mandela, because he personifies courage and strength to do what is right in spite of all odds against him and serve unflinchingly for his people." Stacy's vision for the future was equally powerful: "My vision is to share my culture and rich heritage with the world." This passion defined her life's work, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the honor of knowing her.

She went on to co-found Neyanta Talent Agency with Howard Posner, a groundbreaking endeavor dedicated to uplifting Native American heritage and casting authentic Native American voices in film and television. Stacy's work demonstrated her deep dedication to preserving and representing Native American culture, making an impact felt both within her community and far beyond.

Stacy was a devoted mother, fiercely proud of her children and grandchildren. She was also a champion fancy shawl dancer, whose rhythmic movements captured the spirit of her ancestors. She loved traveling, experiencing life fully, and sharing her vibrancy with all she encountered. Stacy's laughter and warmth filled every room she entered, leaving behind unforgettable memories for those fortunate enough to know her.

Stacy's memory is cherished by her children: Cora (Chaim) Shaouat, Corisa Williams, Sophia Posner, and Joel Posner, and her beloved grandchildren Elai, Anaya, and Shaya, who were her greatest joy. She is preceded in death by her father Johnny WhiteCloud, maternal grandparents Martin and Caroline Stacy, and paternal grandparents Douglas WhiteCloud and Rena Belle Buck.

Her light and legacy will continue to shine in the hearts of her family and friends.
