Stanislaw Chowaniec-Bombac, age 81, of Lyndon Station, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo, Wisconsin surrounded by his loving family and friends where he received Holy Communion and Anointing of The Sick before his passing.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Stanislaw will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lyndon Station with Fr. Piotr Janas Celebrating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM at the Conway-Picha Funeral Home followed by a procession to church to start Mass at 10:30 AM. Stanislaw will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery following Mass.
Stanislaw was born on March 22, 1943, in Poland. The son of Jozef Chowaniec-Bombac and Helena Mardula. Stanislaw came to America in 1985 where he lived in Chicago and then began transitioning to Lyndon Station, Wisconsin in 2000. The simplest pleasures in life brough great joy to Stanislaw. He found happiness and peace in the air, forestry, and mountains outdoors where he would always be found building, crafting, and enjoying his time. Many nights over a campfire, he brought his contagious laughter and joy to family and friends. He was a loving father whose positivity knew no bounds. Stanislaw prayed passionately every day to the Lord and the Blessed Virgin Mary on the Rosary for his family and friends.
Stanislaw is survived by his son Simon (Alyssa), his wife Zofia Majerczyk, his daughter-in-law Maria Chowaniec-Bombac, his daughter Barbara Krzysztof, his grandchildren Daniel, Angelika, and Magdalena, his great-grandchildren, his half-sisters and half-brothers Maria Furtak, Janina Cudzich, Helena Wojtyla, Anna Lukaszczyk, Stanislaw Chowaniec-Bombac, and Irena Ocenas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his son Jerzy Chowaniec-Bombac, his brother Jozef Chowaniec-Bombac, and his half-brother Jozef Chowaniec-Bombac.
