Vian Coddington, age 52, of Wisconsin Dells, WI, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at his home.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 3:00 p.m., via zoom, with visitation and Celebration of Life video starting at 2:15 p.m. CST.

Vian was born October 23, 1968 in St. Croix Falls, WI, the son of Kern and Sonja (Swanson) Coddington. He worked hard and in his younger years enjoyed logging and concrete work. On May 31, 1991, Vian married Jennifer Haviland in Antigo, WI and then made Wisconsin Dells their home in 1997. He loved to be outdoors; you could find him either fishing, grilling or by his roaring campfire. He also loved being with family and friends, playing board games, putting legos together as well as doing puzzles with his wife. Vian broadened his horizons as he traversed most of the 50 states; his last trip in 2018 was through the New England states and New York, visiting the World Headquarters of Jehovah's Witnesses. He easily made new friends, and would help others out as much as he could, within the limits of his disease (CRPS). He enjoyed helping teach others about the Bible and the promises that it holds out for the near future, a resurrection to everlasting life on a paradise earth.

Vian is survived by his parents; wife, Jennifer; brother, Kent (Casey); sister, Kim (Charlie) Rayne and Kay (Todd) Duerst. He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, his father-in-law, Richard Haviland and brother-in-law, Dayle "Buckwheat" Zant.
