Wiktor Lagowski, age 78, of Mauston, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 17, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Chicago for friends and family.

Wiktor was born on March 6, 1944, in Poland, the son of Marian and Genowefa (Bajek) Lagowski. Wiktor spent many years as a butcher. He married Elzbieta Lewandowska on September 3, 1994, in Illinois. He greatly enjoyed being outdoors with nature, tending to his garden, being in his workshop fixing cars and was more than capable of repairing all electronic and mechanical devices. You could always find him with a smile on his face and a humorous or witty quip to add to any conversation. He will be greatly missed by all that were lucky enough to have known him.

Wiktor is survived by his wife, Elzbieta (Lewandowska) Lagowski and his 3 children, Robert (Magdalena) Lagowski, Rafal (Grace) Lagowski, and Jessica (Andy) Kent. His 3 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends also survive him. He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Jurek and Wlodzimierz.
